Here is something that I'm especially proud of. I was recently approached by a representative from the Strathmore company and asked if I would be a contributing artist in a new promotion. They have created a new line of pre-cut "ACEO size" Artist Papers. They wanted me to create an original aceo that could be used at the trade show where they plan to intoduce the new line. Introducing The Primal Mask Series

I had the idea for this series last year but it kept getting pushed to the side until recently. I'm thoroughly enjoying the process of making these paintings. I have always used some kind of reference material when I create but this series is coming exclusively from my imagination. So, this is a nice creative change for me. I've gotten some good feedback on the pieces I've done so far which is very gratifying. I expect the series to go on for quite some time. If your'e a fan of my small graphite portraits, don't worry if you don't see them as much. They will always be a mainstay for me, but expect to see other series thrown into the mix.
